Cole Waterhouse Continues Team Investment with Asset Manager Appointment

Cole Waterhouse has appointed Emma Courtney as Asset Manager, the latest in a series of new hires the company has made as it delivers a strong pipeline of projects across the midlands and the north.

Emma, who joins from logistics business Mileway, will be supporting Cole Waterhouse’s residential and industrial & logistic development teams on the completion and management of a number of live projects and will also take the lead on the business’s ESG strategy.

CWH has two focused divisions, Residential which is led by Managing Director Simon Gallanders and Industrial and Logistics, which is headed up by David Nuttall who joined the business last year. Amy Butler was also recruited as Commercial Manager this summer and an office manager role has also been created to support the growing business.

Commenting on joining the business Emma said: “It’s great to join the Cole Waterhouse team at a time when the company has some exciting live schemes and a strong pipeline of future developments coming through. I have a real passion for asset management with a focus on the increasing importance of ESG. We have both Eda and Konect 62 as assets which need management support, lease management, marketing and lettings strategy development so I’ll be working closely with the property delivery team and our experienced agents and advisors to maximise the opportunities they present.”

CEO Damian Flood added: “We’re proud to welcome Emma to the team. She will be invaluable in helping manage these key assets and to maximise the return for our investors, JV partners and deliver the best experience for our occupiers and residents.”

Last month Cole Waterhouse and its JV partner Taurus Investment Holdings announced the completion of Eda, its 290 apartment BTR scheme which is the tallest residential scheme in Salford Quays.

Cole Waterhouse’s I&L team is also approaching completion of phase 1 of Konect 62, a 135 acre I&L scheme at Kellingley and has plans in development for a second phase to come forward next year.
